DMJ TSA Application/Application for 23-24

Students interested in TSA should be independent thinkers willing to work on activities individually as well as with others. TSA students must want to compete against other TSA students at the district, state, and national level. Joining TSA is a commitment to yourself and the DMJ TSA chapter. Being a TSA member will allow you to travel and compete, showing others the skills you have learned through hard work and dedication.

All information provided in this application goes directly to the chapter advisor and is kept private.

We appreciate your interest in joining our chapter this year. All new applicants must apply to be a member for the 2023-2024 school year.

1. Parents of new applicants need to sign up for our mailing list on the “Contact Us” page of our website.

2. Submit one letter of recommendation on character, work ethic, and leadership qualities. The letter needs to be from a previous teacher or any non-parent adult that can speak on the qualities listed above. Letters need to be submitted by email to Mrs. Roberts (dmjtsa.advisors@gmail.com). Subject line should read “Student Name (first & last) TSA Recommendation” (ex: Maggie White TSA Recommendation).

3. Fill out this application completely with your parent, including signatures.

4. This application is due by Friday, August 11, 2023 at 11:59pm. Please know that space in the class is limited, and if selected to be a member of DMJ TSA there will be a schedule change required, and may be a complete schedule change, depending on the student’s 7th period class.
